"It's official, I'm a "Nascar Dad." I have this unexplainable fondness of watching cars go around in circles really fast. My son (who is 5) got started watching it last summer and I got sucked in. I used to work for UPS and they sponsor the 88 car driven by Dale Jarrett so I suppose he's my favorite driver, though I usually pull for the guys who have no chance to win. Kinda cool: Morgan Shepherd's car is sponsored by "Racing With Jesus."
I guess Nascar is a little like life. You leave going as fast as you can, but end up right back where you started. How profound.
