The World Needs a Union

The long awaited, highly anticipated reunion of that legendary a capella singing sextet, Fishermen's Union happened last Thursday the the Cascade College/Columbia Christian College 50th year celebration.

Jared, Ike, John, and myself were joined by Boone Langston (filling in for Doug) and Andrew Martin (filling in for Tony) and sang 4 of our classics to a standing room only crowd.

Seriously, it was a lot of fun and it took just a few runthrough practices to pull it off. I feel priviledged to sing with such talented musicians. Who knows? You may hear a few things from us soon, with our songs given the proper recording treatment they deserve.

I wish I could have been there.

What, you think one take per song on one mic doesn't give a good recording?
