At last, some pictures of our 10th anniversary getaway. Mel and I treated ourselves to a nice dinner and room at Skamania Lodge out in the gorge. We left the kiddos with friends and had a great time. Time for just the 2 of us is pretty rare, and we would have liked to have stayed another night.Skamania is a really nice place, though a little pricey in my opinion. The seafood buffet that they had on Friday night was so-so. Lots of food, but I suppose you really gotta like seafood to get your $19.99 worth. A nice surprise was the 20% off we recieved because we knew a chef in the kitchen (Sid Astin). Thanks Sid!

Melanie is so cute! You are lucky to have her as an amazing wife and I am lucky to have her as my friend. She is a huge strength to me too. We are lucky to have her! Thanks for letting us have date nights while you are working. It allows us to catch up!
